It’s another Familiar Friday!

The original was never connected before being covered…

After tiding it up for use in the Fun and Games TTC parody flyer, I thought that it was time to give it another shot. This time I sprayed it onto paper, to try and ensure the most even and legible printing possible.

It’s still wet, but I dunno how successful this was…

It kinda looks like hell.

I may need to just recut the whole damn stencil.

The Reservoir Lounge

Four dead astros out of Five!

The Reservoir Lounge has pricey fusion food that’s nothing really special (nice oysters though!) and a limited drink menu (Only 2 beers on Tap- Creemore and Stella, and an uninspired cocktail selection), so why did I give it 4 dead astros?

The music!

Friday nights is the time to visit this “Swing Jazz and Jump Blues” venue. The cover is seven bucks before nine, and ten bucks afterwards- a steal to see the Chet Valiant Combo, the band formerly known as Big Rude Jake! Jake isn’t big any more, but he’s just as rude, and after tearing up some jazz standards, the band plays old favourites like Buster Boy, Front Street Belvedere and Blue Pariah.

Still, It would have been nice to drink without the second mortgage.
