Follow Up 4 – RUN DMZ

Compared to Bart, Einstein was aging well! Sort of.
I guess someone who reads the site went, because they wrote- ‘Street Smarts’ Lesson 1: Intimidation.
We never got past lesson one though, because 2D kept crossing out other peoples stuff and tagging over the chalkboard in paint and marker. It was clearly annoying the other people who used the board, so I re-painted it. Of course 2D just tagged it again.
Kinda ironic, that I was the buff for a little there.
At some point somebody stencilled 2 golden pistols, and of course 2D tagged over that too…
Then, just a few days ago, TEASE decided to retake the spot, which is fine, whatever, but to add insult to injury, he also wrote “Stay in OCAD”

Dude. Ouch.
To explain this burn to non-torontonians, OCAD, (like most arts-only schools) has an awful (but not entirely unearned) reputation as a pompous, self-important art school filled with young, immature, over-educated-yet-ignorant “artists” who pollute Toronto with their smug hipsterism!
Just for the record, most folks from OCAD aren’t like that, (I assume!) and I have nothing to do with OCAD! I’ve never even set foot inside the building.
Wait, that’s not true. I went to go see Micheal Snow give a talk there in January of last year. He’s a great artist, and some of what he did with his walking woman was like proto-street art, but he was a TERRIBLE speaker. He started out by saying he wasn’t a good speaker, and he spent the next few hours living up to that statement.
Anyway, TEASE, did you see my TTC flyers? The graff tour? I featured your work more than any other writers. I LIKE YOUR WORK.
Maybe we can learn something from this video?
