Now go find an unspoiled plot of dirt and plant them in whatever shape you'd like! (you could even use a big stencil that isn't too intricate). The more intrusive thing would be to "de-seed" the topsoil of a new plot this spring and plant your own pattern on top, so you wouldn't have to tend it - it'd be done by the officials!
