Hand Windchime

Hey, special mega-thanks to Eric, Will, and Will S. for their insight yesterday! Thanks so much dudes!

It hadn’t occurred to me that I can better the odds by making more WCWC’s! I was thinking that it was like a coin toss- Just because 20 people are flipping coins, and 19 have came up tails, doesn’t make the 20th any more likely to be heads, right? The odds are the same whether there is one person flipping a coin or 100000. But a WCWC isn’t like a coin toss, it isn’t one simple event limited to just two outcomes! So more in existence could better the odds of it happening sooner!

I don’t know about making thousands more, but I’m definitely going to try to at least install one in every borough.

Keeping on with the windchimes, here’s one that I made to resemble a human hand.

It’s installed along the waterfront in Astoria Park!

You can check out a video of here:

Sorry there is so much wind noise in the video! When filming, I had no idea it was so loud blowing into the mike!

Man, how about all this wind in NY lately, eh?

A good time to be installing windchimes I guess!

Post, I’m just glad I could lend you a hand.

Put a bandaid over the mic — it cuts out wind while still allowing other sounds to get in!

Neat! Thanks for the tip, Dave!
