LEFT OUT IN THE COLD
Here is the final stencil, and, in fact, the final frame from my first major film effort!
It’s time to debut the film-
Posterchild Pictures
Proudly Presents-
LEFT OUT IN THE COLD
One night in Toronto- during the coldest, snowiest part of the winter of 2007.
Inside historic Kensignton Market, Just west of the downtown core and bordering Chinatown.
A Dead Astronaut- eerie and weird- his origins unknown, his purpose unclear, wanders the empty and lonely streets. Shrouded in shadows, he is a Figure of the Unfamiliar, a Posterchild for the Peculiar.
Seeking no direct contact, he instead uses the walls of the city to set down uncanny images and mysterious messages, which are:
LEFT OUT IN THE COLD.
Freed by the walls that surround him, Posterchild is disrepute warmed over.
This Spring, get LEFT OUT IN THE COLD.
(This post is best read in the “Movie-Trailer Guy” Voice. You know… “ONE MAN, 1000 NACHOS, AND NO TIME FOR SECOND-GUESSES. THIS SUMMER- GET OVERLOADED.“)
ONE NIGHT, 9 PASTEUPS, 7 STENCILS, *Needle being pulled off of a record sound* AND ONE CRAZY GORILLA.
HA ha!
ah.
