Lovers Lock – Cameron And Jo

This is a Lovers Lock. If you’d like to submit your own love story -and maybe have me create a personalized lock that will be added to Toronto’s Lover’s Fence- please read more about submitting here. Of course, you can always go and add your own. Toronto’s Lover’s Fence encloses Grange Park, the park behind the Art Gallery Of Ontario.

Cameron And Jo’s Love Story:

So I was putting on a music gig and I messaged this girl who’s a folk musician asking if she’d like to play and she messaged me back saying “okay, watch out for the Tigers!”, turns out she was meaning to send it to her friend who’s traveling around India. hilarity and embarassment ensued and we ended up talking about tigers and animals and stuff and our favourite Greek myths then basically 6 months later she moved in with me!
Yay!

    Hey PC
I’d be interested in seeing a follow-up to one of these. Maybe not so much as a separate post, but a picture as to what the lock looks like once it’s settled in?
Or does it keep that silvery colour where you’ve etched it? :)

No, It oxidizes and turns brown- but in a very pleasing way!

I’ll be sure to post some aged pics in a bit!
