Something Very Special..
In the talk I posted yesterday, I speak at the end about my recent marriage proposal to my fabulous Girlfriend Fiancée! That’s right, she said yes!!!
She thought she was just helping me out with another street art project; I kept this covered until after it was installed and after the unveiling I was expecting some kind of reaction- but it took a little while to convince her that this was a proposal for real, and not just some art project!
Ha! But she said “Yes”, so it’s all gravy!

Congratulations man! I warn you ahead of time though – everything they say about getting married is true. Good, bad, funny, a terrible joke, somehow it all manages to be true. But for the most part, it is really, really good, especially if you know how to laugh with (and at!) each other.
I’ll also be the first to understand if you drop street art down a notch in your priorities.

Thanks Everyone!!! Yeah, I think I’m ready for some ups and downs, and yeah, eventually street art will slow, but hey, I still feel like giving out high fives!

excellent work! – do ya mind if I blog it on my wedding website? (elopenewyork.com) – or maybe the other one – Wedding2point0.com – I’m up in Toronto marrying people, but I’ll be back on 23rd street in a couple of weeks. And if you ever want to get married ON the subway — the NY wedding grannies will be happy to oblige – Lways wanted to do an F train wedding – we’ve married people on the BBridge at dawn and on the waterfront at night and in rowboats in Central park – and those were all CANADIANS, I tell ya… Best wishes to both of you, eh?
