Stained Glass Post-Pixelators – HOLD

This week I’m in New York on a very special art mission.

Do you remember Jason Eppink’s Pixelators?

Of course you do. They are awesome.

I made 4 of my own “Stained Glass” pixelators out of white melamine faced chipboard, half-inch wide.

When finished, they were very heavy!

Here’s a pic of them before being skinned with diffusion gel;

I made them in Ontario and hauled them all the way to New York!

This is the first one we installed, it reads “HOLD”, though some interpret it as “BOLD”.

Thanks to Jason Eppink (and Steve Lambert!) for all the help with the install(s) and for taking photos and filming!

Seriously. “Major Props” fellas.
