Tag Tuesday

I came across this unusual marker awhile back. It’s not filled with typical ink, but with stain.

Apparently it is ideal for small, fiddly staining jobs.

Though I’ve never seen or heard of a tagger using stain before (I could be under-informed, god knows they’ve used just about everything else) It is also ideal for staining your name into some of the untreated wood hoarding and such that gathers about a city.

Stain can mean “To Soil”, “To Corrupt”, “To Taint”, but in this case, I am not defiling or damaging anything, I am, in fact, protecting the wood.

Though I suppose paint and ink does the same, really…

….and property owners would have a hard time buying that argument.

Anyways, a neat, subtle, kinda translucent effect.

STAIN!
