Torso 3

Here is the final stage of my new unstoppable technique.

I want this technique to be named after me. (Like when you read an art book and the author makes some small improvement on an existing process, names it after himself, and then mentions the process [using the new name] much more than necessary.)

It shall be called: “Posterchilds Peel-Away Process”

Or PPAP .

So, those strips where the poster is dry?

That’s tape underneath the poster.

The paper, when dried, almost shrinkwraps to the surface. The wheatpaste penetrates the paper, and as it dries, pulls it tight as a drum and holds it strong.

Where I taped the two sheets together, however, the paper isn’t exposed. It’s covered by a strip of packing tape -which isn’t penetrated by the paste- and so doesn’t form the same sort of awesome bond.

It tears away pretty easily- usually in a clean strip!

I noticed this over the years of postering- wherever I taped my two sheets of paper together was where it would get torn first. You can look forward to it.

I have a three-layer PPAP waiting out there for someone to peel at it…

Imagine their surprise!
